The city has several nicknames, “Emerald City” due to the forests surrounding the city or “Jet City” because of the economic importance of Boeing in the area. Financed by Paul Allen, designed by Frank Gehry this museum includes different activities like an interactive rock museum. The city has also well-known buildings like the Space Needle or the Columbia Center.
