El Big Bad is a Mexican restaurant in Downtown Houston. It offers a brunch every Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The place is awesome and divided into different levels of dining and drinking. The walls are covered with murals of different style and you can observe behind the bar the kitchen’s activity or the big containers of infused tequila.
The brunch menu has a lot of choices. You’ve got the meals to share like the salsas, guacamole, ceviche or empadanas for example. You also have some salads and soups. Then come the brunch plates. Portions are big and one should be enough to fill you! You’ve got burrito, huevos a la novella, carnitas hash, shroom omelet, chilaquiles, breakfast sandwich or French toast “torrejas”. The menu also includes some enchiladas. Some sweet meals exist also like pudding, helados or empadanas.
If you’ve had a rough Saturday night, El Big Bad is the perfect brunch to get back in shape!
