Brunch La Foret

La Foret is a French restaurant in New Almaden. On Sundays they propose their weekly brunch between 10.30 a.m. and 2 p.m. The decor is woodsy, made of dim lights and can be qualified as modern Mediterranean. Through the big windows you can view the beautiful Almaden trees of the winding creek. At night, whit the outdoor lights on, the view is stunning.

Concerning the menu, the entrees section is composed of Ahi Tuna, Salmon, Vegetarian Pasta, Eggs, Tortellini, Linguine, Fusilli & Scallops, Veal, Quail, Breast of Chicken, Lobster Tail and Wild Game Special. With any entrees you will have a platter including fresh fruits, cheese, marinated mushrooms and hearts of artichokes & prawns. In the desserts section you will find Vanilla Ice Cream Creme Brulee, Caramel Mustard, Chocolate Truffle Torte, Amaretto Cheese Cake, Mixed Berries with Creme Anglaise, Creme Brulee, Combination and Souffle Grand Marnier.
