The Monterey is a gastropub in San Antonio which has the particularity to change its menu everyday. There is no fixed menu and you can always try something new. It can be disturbing for some but the very friendly staff will be happy to make some recommendations.

With a restaurant changing regularly its menu difficult to say of what it will be composed. For example in the past they proposed house-made pickles, sprightly watermelon salad, complexly flavorful charred squid bowl with mango and jicama or seared skirt steak with a shallot chimichurri. To accompany these meals a wide wine list is proposed.
