Metro Diner is a well-known place of Jacksonville, several restaurants exist throughout the city. These restaurants are recognized for the quality of their food and on the weekends there is usually a line out the door. You can still call ahead and put your name on the list. The staff is on point, accommodating and friendly. This joint has also an outdoor seating, perfect to eat good food while enjoying a sunny day.

The breakfast is served every day from 6.30 in the morning. The menu is very long and everyone can find something suitable. The first part of the menu is Metro Favorites including fried chicken and waffle, huevos rancheros, biscuits & sausage gravy, yo hala on the square or the bissel breakfast. Several types of benedicts are available such as country benedict, crab cake benedict or surf & turf. 3-egg omelets are there too, veggie, American, western, greek or Tuscan, there is always something suitable.

You will also find some eggs galore like two eggs with hashbrowns and toast or protein breakfast. We continue with griddle greats including nutty waffle, fruity waffle, cinnamon raisin pecan French toast, croissant French toast or Belgian waffle. Some breakfast sandwiches are also on the menu, frisco breakfast sandwich, spicy honey chicken biscuit, fried chicken biscuit or A.M. sandwich. Sides and fruits, cereals & such are also available.

To accompany your meals you will find some beverages on the menu. Freshly ground coffee, flavored coffee, hot herbal tea, flavored tea, freshly brewed iced tea, fresh juices, soft drinks, white or chocolate milk, bottled water or keywest limeade.
