Description by the editorial board

Located in the heart of Houston's Montrose area, Hugo's brings the exciting and earthy flavors of Mexico to Houston. Every week-end Hugo proposes two brunches. One on Saturdays with a menu and one buffet on Sundays. Both are real treats. So is the place. On one hand you have the inside and its Mexico’s influence and on the outside you have this beautiful relaxing patio.

The Saturday brunch menu is composed of gluten free meals. You can find salads, soups, brunch classics or some meals a little bit more creative.

The Sunday buffet includes carnitas, corn pudding, guacamole, various egg dishes, multiple kinds of enchiladas, chilaquiles verdes, quesadillas and so much more. Hugo's has always madse sure to provide vegetarian options, and this is reflected in the buffet selection as well.
The dessert table features desserts made with Mexican chocolate by pastry chef. Hot chocolate and non-chocolate ones including rich flan and rice pudding.

If you don’t know what a good Mexican brunch is, go to Hugo’s. Then you’ll know.

For children:

For the sunday brunch buffet, price for kids of 12 and Under is $12.
