Description by the editorial board

Jack's Wife Freda is a lively all-day bistro executing American-Mediterranean cooking & classic cocktails in understated digs, serving breakfast, lunch & dinner, 7 days a week, all at reasonable prices. The majority of the dining room is reserved for walk-in guests. The menu is filled with dishes we know and love from their childhoods in Israel and South Africa (with a few New York favorites).

Discover the menu "à la carte" for Breakfast and Brunch, with a wide choice of hot and cold drinks and different dishes. You can choose from classics such as Grapefruit and Yogurt, waffles or eggs, but also choose an original brunch with the Green Shakshuka or the Breakfast Bowl. If you hesitate, let yourself be tempted by the house's specialities, namely Madame Freda or Jack's Breakfast. The menu also features featured products such as House Cured Duck Bacon, Peri-Peri Sweetbreads and Grilled Haloumi. Finish with a sweet touch with a selection of gourmet desserts.

You can find Jack's Wife Freda in SoHo, on Carmine Street in the West Village, and West 16th Street in Chelsea.
