TopBrunch, the best brunch guide in Universal City

Universal City, located in the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles County, may be considered the heart of the world’s film industry. A large part of the neighbourhood is actually owned by Universal Studios, one of the largest film studios in the United States. The best place to get off the subway for Universal City would be the Universal/Studio City station. Universal City is the home of the Universal Studios Hollywood combination film studio and theme park, one of the oldest (and, incidentally, most well-known) active film studios. The first tour of the Universal Studios actually took place in 1915, and tourists were able to buy fresh produce inside. While the fresh produce is long gone, since Universal City is no longer a working farm, one may still find a morsel or two to tempt. Universal Studios Hollywood is also the site of the famous Wizarding World of Harry Potter, a Potter-themed attraction perfect for the whole family. As a popular destination to take the family on holidays and week-ends, the Saturday and Sunday brunch has practically become an institution in the area. Many of the creative and original restaurants to be found near Universal Studios Hollywood welcome children, while some offer a cheap week-end buffet for those on a slightly tighter budget. If you’re looking for some retail therapy before or after your week-end brunch, however, the Universal Citywalk Hollywood is certainly an impressive destination, featuring more than 30 restaurants. While some are admittedly chain restaurants, there are also a number of unique and original eateries at CityWalk. Universal City is the original bastion of the American Dream, and visitors are always delighted at the film-industry atmosphere. Children will be delighted at the many theme parks and themed areas, while the rest of the family may enjoy life more after soaking up the ambiance during a leisurely buffet brunch over a week-end. All the attractions in the area are naturally open on Saturday and Sunday, to make the most of the heavy tourist traffic.
