Enter this brunch joint and discover what this hype is all about. Snooze is a restaurant chain in the US and the lucky people of San Diego have two. The place in Hillcrest is very cool, modern, retro and it has some urban vibe. The service is fast, the staff is very helpful and love to give some recommendations.

Concerning the food the menu is divided in several parts, beginning with the flavors from the hen which includes tacos, rancheros, spuds and omelet. Then come the “art of hollandaise” with its benedicts and bennies. Because yes they have several benedicts and bennies, and they all are amazing. Some sandwiches and salads are also proposed. The “sweet utopia” part is composed of delicious pancakes and some creation like the Banana Nutella Situation. The menu also proposes quinoa, tofu and other meals for veggies.

To accompany your brunch choose a hot drink made by the barista or find something in the long list of morning cocktails.

If you had to do only one brunch in San Diego, Snooze should be on your short list.
