Seattle is the largest city of the state of Washington and the capital of the county of King. With nearly 3.5 million of inhabitants, the urban area of Seattle is the 15th of the US. With its harbour, the 8th of the country, Seattle is a very important city of the West Coast of the US and a major gateway in the trade with Asia through the Pacific. The city has several nicknames, “Emerald City” due to the forests surrounding the city or “Jet City” because of the economic importance of Boeing in the area.
